Give each support ticket a suggested category, priority and responsible team, ready for your review.
A fictional billing ticket from our test, paired with the suggestion from a real Pareto run.
Customer message: The dashboard also looks dated, but that is not my request. Current request: The renewal invoice charged us twice for the same workspace. Our whole workspace is blocked right now, with no workaround. Reference: CASE-700.
Across 100 synthetic tickets and 3 runs, Pareto picked the expected category every time. GPT-6.1 Sol (served by Azure through OpenRouter) scored the same on category selection. This was not perfect ticket assignment: priority and team checks had errors. See the detailed checks below.
GPT-6.1 Sol served by Azure through OpenRouter.
Both models reached the ceiling on this synthetic, template-based set; that does not establish accuracy on real customer tickets.
Pareto: $1.63 per 1,000 tickets, from measured usage at published rates.
GPT-6.1 Sol, served by Azure through OpenRouter: $1.40 per 1,000 tickets, from measured usage at published rates.
These costs include recorded discounts for reused input text. GPT-6.1 Sol cost less on this set. Your inputs may cost a different amount.

Subscriptions are for one person and are not unlimited. New API accounts are reviewed by a person before access turns on, and commercial or production use needs a separate written agreement. Rates and limits are on Pricing.

Read https://unbiased.ai/use-cases/support-ticket-triage/agent.md and set up this recipe on this machine. Ask before writing files or secrets, and never ask me to paste my API key into chat.
It works on this machine, asks before writing files or secrets, and never needs your key in chat. Read the agent runbook
Write a category and urgency rubric, send each ticket through a forced tool call, then validate category, priority and team before storing it. Unlike field extraction, this recipe evaluates the assignment decision. Labels set by the generator, spot-checked by us: the authoring agent, not independent human labelers.
On our 100 synthetic test tickets, category macro-F is Pareto 1.0000 vs the baseline 1.0000: tie. Both reach the ceiling of this template-based set, not proof of real-world reliability. We publish the frozen comparison, including ties and losses.

When not to use Pareto: Use a trained classifier when you have enough labeled tickets to validate one. Keep a person in charge of urgent escalation and vague requests; this synthetic set does not establish production accuracy.

Use the exact frozen request and checker below. The scored transport is Python HTTP, not the optional OpenAI SDK adapter. Pydantic AI and DSPy remain unrun cards. Nothing creates or changes a customer ticket automatically.
Choose a plan at plans. A person approves new accounts. Set UNBIASED_API_KEY in your shell, never in chat or a committed file.
Download the dataset, recipe, checker, configuration and standalone runner from the dataset section into an empty directory. Install the planning tokenizer with python3 -m pip install tiktoken==0.14.0.
The frozen configuration defines billing, access, bug, feature and unknown. Priority reflects stated work blockage, not how angry the customer sounds. Ticket text is untrusted input, not instructions to change the rubric.
Run python3 -I run_eval.py --plan --arms pareto --limit 10. After approving the printed budget, use --generate --arms pareto --limit 10. Only remove the limit for an approved full reproduction.
Unset keys and run python3 -I run_eval.py --rescore RUN. Exactly one named tool call is required. Extra calls and invalid enum values score as failures, never disappear from the denominator. Review low-confidence and urgent results before acting.

The optional SDK adapter in recipe.py is not scored. The runner rejects extra calls even when parallel_tool_calls is false. No response_format is sent.
card only
Measured baseline: GPT-6.1 Sol, served by Azure through OpenRouter. The repository runner used UC_BASELINE_ROUTE=openrouter with Azure pinned and fallbacks disabled. Azure rejects parallel_tool_calls, so that transport parameter was omitted; the same forced named tool and checker still enforce one call. The frozen downloadable runner predates this transport update and supports direct OpenAI only. Its result would be a separate reproduction, not an exact replay of the Azure transport. Prompt, tools, token ceiling and reasoning effort stayed frozen.

Optional integration, not run on this fixture. Use the Pydantic AI setup guide and validate the returned category, priority and team against your application enums.
card only
Optional integration, not run on this fixture. See the DSPy setup guide. ChainOfThought text output is not the scored forced-tool path.

}The repeat gate checks varied tool arguments, not statistical independence. Explanations can vary while labels remain identical. Confidence buckets are self-reported, not calibrated probabilities. Empty buckets use the frozen zero-division convention. Human agreement is not measured.
Tested with the Python standard-library HTTP runnerMeasured on Pareto 26.10, October 2026
Check tool calls and error handling on your own work before relying on it.
Pareto is Unbiased’s blended AI model: it selects frontier and open models for each request and blends their outputs into one answer.
How a Pareto answer gets made →Both arms use measured token counts at published list prices. The baseline costs less on this fixture; the headline quality result is a tie.
The baseline is cheaper on this set. Token costs include measured cache reads; output tokens already include reasoning. The run time is a request-rate floor, not measured latency. A record means one ticket sent once; the long threads consume more input tokens. Plan selection does not itself authorize production use. Confirm commercial or production use in a separate written agreement with Unbiased before moving live traffic.
Category describes the requested help. Priority describes work blockage. Team is the accountable owner: finance, identity, engineering, product or support. No-detail messages stay unknown instead of receiving an invented issue.
Labels set by the generator, spot-checked by us. Here, us means the authoring agent, not independent human labelers. The fixture uses deterministic templates authored by a Pareto coding agent. Human review and agreement remain unmeasured. Read SOURCE.md before treating this as queue-quality evidence.
No. It measures a synthetic, template-based set with short multilingual examples and repeated filler in long threads. The dev split shares templates but not scored ticket text. Test on consented, appropriately redacted customer data before deployment.
The scored runner rejects multiple final calls explicitly. It does not trust the parallel_tool_calls flag to enforce a single call. Invalid outputs remain in the score denominator.
The confidence label is self-reported and not calibrated. Keep vague requests and urgent escalations in a human review queue. A separate policy must decide whether any assignment may run unattended.
Structured extraction pulls fields from emails and notes. This recipe scores category decisions, priority and team assignments against a frozen rubric, with separate development and test tickets.

Requests over your plan’s limits return an HTTP 429 error. Personal includes 50M tokens a week and 20 requests per minute. Personal Max raises that to 600M a week and 60 requests per minute for $100/month. Team uses prepaid pay-as-you-go credits with no weekly token cap.
No. You send every request to one model string, pareto. Pareto selects frontier and open models for each request and blends their outputs into one answer.
Personal and Personal Max are not our zero data retention tier: prompts and responses may be kept up to 30 days, as section 5(c) of the Terms explains. For work that must not be kept, ask about the Zero Data Retention API on the Private AI page.
