What are Unbiased and Pareto?

Unbiased is being built to represent the buyer of intelligence, not a single model provider. Pareto is its first model: it selects frontier and open models for each request and blends their outputs into one answer.

Broader comparison capabilities are part of the longer-term plan, not features available today.

Is Pareto right for every task?

No. The point of Unbiased is to say plainly when Pareto earns the work and when another model is a better fit.

Until the public evidence is complete, test Pareto on your own representative workload.

What can I buy today, and what happens after payment?

Personal is $10/month with 50M tokens a week and 20 requests per minute. Personal Max is $100/month with 600M tokens a week and 60 requests per minute. Team uses prepaid pay-as-you-go credits, with no weekly token cap and 300 requests per minute. Subscriptions are for one person and are not unlimited.

New accounts are reviewed and approved by hand before your API access turns on. Once you’re approved, you pick up your key on the platform when you set up your workload. Credits and billing live in your platform account. Onboarding is offered, not required.

How do I get started, step by step?

  1. Sign up for a beta account. Create your account at platform.unbiased.ai. Every signup is reviewed and approved by hand; once you’re cleared, you pick up your key on the platform when you set up your workload.

  2. Hand the setup to your agent. Everything an agent needs lives in one file:

  3. Or make the first call yourself. Once your key is issued, send one request to the OpenAI-compatible endpoint:

    The same key works on the Anthropic-format /v1/messages endpoint. Endpoints, rate limits and error codes are in the API docs. Already on OpenRouter? Use Pareto on OpenRouter. Running a coding agent or chat app? Works with has the settings for Claude Code, Cursor, Cline and many more.

  4. Check the reply. A completion back from pareto means your key and endpoint work. A 401 means the key is missing or wrong.

How should I test Pareto?

Start with a real, representative workload and a clear success criterion. Compare quality, reliability, latency, tool behavior, and cost against the model you normally use.

Can I use Pareto on OpenRouter?

Yes. OpenRouter is a partner, and Unbiased serves Pareto there as a provider. Pareto 26.10 is available on OpenRouter as unbiased/pareto-26.10. OpenRouter gives you one key for hundreds of models. If you already send traffic through OpenRouter, it may be the right tool.

Use the Unbiased API at https://api.unbiased.ai/v1 with model pareto, or a Personal, Personal Max or Team plan, if you want our plans, our rates and direct support. Can I access models other than Pareto?

Not today. Multi-model access and comparison tools are part of the longer-term plan, not what today's access includes.

Buyers who need those capabilities now should use a product that already provides them.

How will Unbiased prove its claims?

The standard is reproducible tests, named models and versions, clear methods, blind review where judgment is subjective, and published losses as well as wins.

Preliminary Pareto 26.10 scores and cost per task on four benchmarks are on the model card. These results may change before final publication, and no composite score is published.

What happens to my prompts and responses?

Prompt and response content can pass through Circuit & Chisel infrastructure to operate the service. The Data Policy explains current uses, security practices, and open retention questions.
