Stop auditioning models. Ask the question.

Deciding which AI gets the first crack shouldn’t be a second job. Pareto runs several models behind each request and returns one answer in Unbiased Chat.

Improve a rough draft

Prompt

Tighten this rough note to my landlord. Keep it polite and under 80 words:

hi so the kitchen tap has been dripping for like 3 weeks now and i mentioned it before but nothing happened, its getting worse and honestly the noise at night is annoying and its probably wasting water too which i guess you pay for?? can someone come look this week, im home after 5 most days thanks

Pareto’s answer, unedited

Hi, following up on my previous request, the kitchen tap is still dripping and has gotten worse. It's now been about three weeks. The constant dripping is noisy at night and is wasting quite a bit of water. Could you please have someone come out to fix it this week? I'm typically home after 5 PM on most days. Thank you.

Captured October 17, 2026 from the Unbiased API (model pareto, served as Pareto 26.10). 848 tokens (89 prompt, 759 answer), as reported by the API. Raw capture.

Where the 848 tokens went

The API counted 759 answer tokens, but the reply you see is only about 70 of them. We call the rest unseen working: answer tokens the API counts that don’t appear in the reply. Pareto “blends outputs from multiple underlying models” into one answer (Terms 2(c)); the Terms don’t say how those tokens are counted.

Each bar segment is drawn to scale: the short orange part is the reply you read; the long striped part is unseen working.

How we counted, and how it’s billed

How we counted the reply (an approximation from API-reported counts): we sent its exact text back to the same API as a new prompt. It counted 78 tokens; a one-word prompt (“Hi”) counted 7, so about 6 are message wrapping, leaving about 72 for the reply. Raw re-count.

On pay-as-you-go API credits, all 759 answer tokens are billed at the output rate: this call’s recorded cost, $0.0025, equals 89 input tokens at $0.80 and 759 output tokens at $3.20 per million (pricing page). Personal and Personal Max include a weekly token allowance instead.

Compare options from supplied information

Prompt

Using only the information below, which plan should I pick? Answer in under 100 words.

I commute 3 days a week, 22 km each way. I sometimes rent a car on weekends.
Option A: monthly transit pass, 89 euros, unlimited rides.
Option B: pay per ride, 3.40 euros per ride.
Option C: annual pass, 900 euros, paid up front, refundable only in the first 30 days.

Pareto’s answer, unedited

Pick Option C if you’ll maintain this commute for a year and can afford €900 upfront.

Assuming one ride each way:

  • B: 6 rides/week × €3.40 × 52 weeks = €1,060.80/year.
  • A: €89 × 12 = €1,068/year.
  • C: €900/year, saving about €161–€168.

C’s drawback is its refund cutoff after 30 days. If your plans are uncertain, choose B; choose A for months with 27 or more transit rides. Weekend car rentals don’t add transit rides.

Explain a code snippet

Prompt

Explain what this does, line by line, for someone new to JavaScript. Keep it short.

const unique = [...new Set(emails.map(e => e.trim().toLowerCase()))];

Pareto’s answer, unedited

This line takes a list of email addresses and creates a cleaned-up list with no duplicates. Here’s what happens, piece by piece:

  1. emails – Your starting array (list) of email strings, e.g. [" A@X.com ", "b@Y.com", " a@x.com "].
  2. .map(e => e.trim().toLowerCase()) – Goes through each email (e), trims off extra spaces around it, and converts it to lowercase. Returns a new array with these cleaned strings.
  3. new Set(...) – Wraps that cleaned array in a Set, which automatically removes any duplicate values (so only unique emails remain).
  4. [...new Set(...)] – The spread operator (...) turns that Set back into a regular array.
  5. const unique = ... – Stores the final unique, cleaned array in a variable called unique.

Result: You get an array like ["a@x.com", "b@y.com"] – no duplicates, no extra spaces, all lowercase.

One question.
Several models, one answer.

Pareto is Unbiased’s blended AI model: it runs a mix of frontier and open models on each request and blends their outputs into one answer.

Do I choose which model answers?

No. Pareto runs several models in parallel on every request and returns one answer. You never pick a model and nothing switches mid-conversation.

Is Chat private?

Chat is not zero data retention. Prompts and responses may be kept for up to 30 days for abuse prevention, security monitoring, debugging and product improvement, and staff may access them. Saved conversations and Projects stay until you delete them; otherwise until 30 days after the contract ends or after a verified account deletion request, whichever is earlier. The Data Policy has the details.

Where do I use it?

At chat.unbiased.ai, signed in with your Unbiased account. Chat comes with Personal and Personal Max.

What can I buy today?

Personal is $10/month with 50M tokens a week and 20 requests per minute. Personal Max is $100/month with 600M tokens a week and 60 requests per minute. Team uses prepaid pay-as-you-go credits, with no weekly token cap and 300 requests per minute. Subscriptions are for one person and are not unlimited.
